I bid farewell this Summer to my friends at Id Software. Last week I concluded three years of visual development for the next installment of Doom. I leave the environment design helm of Doom to the talented artists at Id and head back to Pacific waters for new adventures.
My cover for the reprint of Michael Swanwick's Nebula award winning Stations of the Tide appears at BSCreview. The book will be on shelves February '11.
I had a great experience working with production designer Tino Schaedler to help realize the SyFy identity short film, House of Imagination , as part of their Imagine Greater rebranding campaign. Artect.net has a feature covering the production with some behind the scenes material including concept art, illustration and production photos. I contributed work for the main atrium space seen in the spot. Watch the short here >
